Puncture Vine
Tribulus terristris, Caltrop family (zygophyllaceae)
Flowers:	Small bright yellow flower with 5 petals, to 1/2" wide. Fruit has sharp points.
Leaves:	Dark green feather-like leaves, to 2" long.
Height:	Stems grow along the ground, to 5' long.
Photographed June 5, in Superstition Mountain area. Typically found in desert or disturbed areas like fields and roadsides.
