Paloverde (Yellow)
Cercidium floridum, Pea family (Leguminosae)
Flowers:	5 crinkled petals, 4 pale yellow and 1 white, to 1/2" wide, with golden orange-tipped stamens.
Leaves:	Yellow-green bark and leaves, made up of parallel rows of leaflets, to 3/4" long.
Height:	Tree grows to 25' high.
Photographed May 8, in Superstition Mountain area. Typically found on rocky hillsides and dry flat areas.
