Owl Clover
Orthocarpus purpurascens, Snapdragon or Figwort family (Scrophulariaceae)
Flowers:	Feathery pink to rose flowers to 1 1/4" long, brownish at base, with white or yellow tipped puffy lower lips.
Leaves:	Thin, thread-like leaves, to 2" long.
Height:	May grow to 16".
Photographed March 26, in Superstition Mountain area. Typically found in desert areas, near other wildflowers such as lupines and poppies.
