Flowers:	Three large yellow or orange tulip-like petals, with contrasting color near center, to 3".
Leaves:	Long,narrow, grey-green.
Height:	Grows to 2' high.
Photographed May 9, near Painted Desert in northern AZ. Typically found in open, dry desert.
