Jojoba
Simmodsia chinensis, Box family (Boxaceae)
Flowers: Clusters of small green and yellow flowers. A bush may be male with flowers producing pollen, or female, which bears the "acorn-like" jojoba fruit.
Leaves: Thick, leathery gray, green oval leaves to 1 1/2" long.
Height: Bush may grow to 7' high.

Typically found near desert washes and in rocky areas.
