Globe Mallow (Orange)
Sphaeralcea ambigua, Mallow Family (Malvaceae)
Flowers: Commonly orange to reddish orange, with 5 petals forming a cup shape to 1 1/2" wide. Also occur in white, pink, and purple shades.
Leaves: Gray-green scalloped leaves, softly haired, to 2 1/2" wide.
Height: May grow to 40".

Typically found in desert washes and flat areas. Common along roadsides.
