Gilia latifolia, Phlox Family (Polemoniaceae)
Flowers:	Pink star-like flower with 5 petals and tubular center.
Leaves:	Oblong green leaves near base, to 8" long.
Height:	May grow to 20".
Photographed March 29, in the Superstition Mountain area. Typically found in desert washes and hilly areas.
