Dalea (Feather)
Dalea formosa, Pea Family (Leguminosae)
Flowers:	Small purplish pea type flowers to 1/2" long, with small cream petals and feathery centers .
Leaves:	Dark green, to 3/8" long with parallel rows of leaflets.
Height:	Small bush, may grow to 16" high.
Photographed May 9, near Canyon Lake. Typically found on rocky hillsides and dry plains.
