Desert Anemone
Anemone tuberosa, Buttercup family (Ranunculaceae)
Flowers:	White to pinkish purple, to 1 1/2" wide, at end of stem.
Leaves:	Green leaves grow to 4" long, have multiple divisions.
Height:	To 16".
Photographed March 8, in the Superstition Mountain area. Typically found on rocky desert slopes.
