Larrea tridentata, Caltrop family (Zygophyllaceae)
Flowers:	Bright yellow (to 1" wide) with 5 petals, followed by fuzzy white seed pod.
Leaves:	Small shiny dark green leaves, rounded, with sharp pointed tip, two leaflets meet at base.
Height:	Shrub may grow to 10'.
Photographed April 27, in the Superstition Mountain area. Found across Arizona deserts, especially drought-hardy.
