Christmas Cholla
Opuntia leptocaulis, Cactus family (Cactaceae)
Flowers:	Waxy yellow star-like flower (to 1" wide) with a slight greenish tinge.
Cactus:	Thin round cactus branches (to 1/2" diameter) forming a bush-like structure.
Height:	May grow to 3'.
Photographed April 29, in the Superstition Mountain area. Typically found in desert, washes, and on slopes.
